If and when we decide for therapeutic benefits, she can join a therapy session. Nola can stay for the full session, or you can let me know if you need her to leave during the session. You are always in control.
No. Animal-assisted therapy is not for everyone or every situation. It also is not a part of routine psychotherapy. It will only be incorporated into your treatment plan if it will add value to help you toward your goals and if you want the service.
